Food Production Operations

As a response to the growing need in our orphanage, we have developed means to overcome this problem. The centre has constructed food production schemes in which it produces its own products to avoid extra costs for the purchase of the children’s food.

We have dairy cows

We have pigs for meat and sale

We have layer chickens for eggs. These eggs are used to supplement the children `s food for good nutrition and surplus as a source of revenue .

We also have a crop production operation -Title

Our maize crops are now irrigated

We have fruit trees

We also grow cabbage, squash and spinach.
